The New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) is a beautiful Renaissance-style building in Leipzig, Germany. It was built between 1899 and 1905 to house the offices of the city administration and is still in use today.
The New Town Hall is located in the center of Leipzig, near the market square (Markt) and the old town hall (Altes Rathaus). It was designed by the architect Hugo Licht and features a beautiful red sandstone façade with elaborate sculptures and reliefs.
The building has a tower that rises 114 meters (374 feet) above the city, making it one of the tallest town halls in Germany. Visitors can climb to the top of the tower for stunning views of the city and the surrounding countryside.
Inside the New Town Hall, visitors can admire the beautiful interior, which features a grand staircase, a council chamber with ornate decorations, and a large hall with stained glass windows and a ceiling painting depicting scenes from Leipzig's history.
