It is located between the borders of France and Italy, and is part of the Mont Blanc massif. Mont Blanc is a popular tourist destination for climbing, skiing and snowboarding, and is also known for its stunning views and glaciers. The first ascent of Mont Blanc was made in 1786 and since then, it has become one of the most well-known and iconic peaks in the world. The Mont Blanc massif also contains many other notable peaks, and is part of the larger Graian Alps mountain range.
