Belvedere Palace is a historic palace located in Vienna, Austria. The palace was built between 1714 and 1723 by Prince Eugene of Savoy and served as his summer residence. The palace consists of two Baroque buildings, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, connected by a large formal garden. The Upper Belvedere is the main building and is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in Europe. It features ornate facades and an interior decorated with frescoes, marble sculptures, and paintings by artists such as Gustav Klimt. The Lower Belvedere, originally a service building, now houses exhibitions of Austrian art and culture, including works by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Oskar Kokoschka. Today, the Belvedere Palace Vienna is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
