Victoria Falls is a breathtaking waterfall located on the Zambezi River, on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa. The falls are considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and are one of the largest waterfalls in the world, measuring 1,708 meters wide and up to 108 meters tall.

The Victoria Falls were first named by Scottish explorer and missionary David Livingstone in 1855. The local name for the falls is "Mosi-oa-Tunya" which means "The Smoke That Thunders". The falls are so large that the mist created by the falling water can be seen from up to 50 km away, giving the illusion of smoke.

Visitors to Victoria Falls can enjoy a variety of activities, including whitewater rafting, kayaking, and canoeing on the Zambezi River, scenic helicopter rides over the falls, and wildlife viewing in the nearby national parks. There are also several viewing platforms and walkways along the falls that provide stunning views of the falls and the surrounding landscape.

Victoria Falls is a popular tourist destination and attracts millions of visitors each year. The falls are considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are protected as part of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and the Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe.
