Schloss Belvedere is a palace complex located on a hill above Weimar in Germany. It was built in the early 18th century as a summer residence for Duke Ernst August of Saxe-Weimar. The complex consists of two palaces, the Upper Palace and the Lower Palace, both of which are surrounded by extensive gardens and parklands.

The Upper Palace is the centerpiece of the complex and is built in the Baroque style. It features opulent interiors with ornate stucco decorations, frescoes, and lavish furnishings. Visitors can tour the palace's many rooms, including the Marble Hall, the Gallery of Ancestors, and the Royal Chapel.

The Lower Palace also houses a museum dedicated to the work of the German artist Johann Heinrich Dannecker.

The gardens surrounding the palaces are an important part of the complex's design. They were designed in the English landscape style and feature ornamental fountains, grottoes, and a water cascade. Visitors can also explore the parklands, which include woods, meadows, and ponds.

Today, Schloss Belvedere is a popular tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is open to the public for tours and hosts cultural events and exhibitions throughout the year.
