The Royal Palace of Aranjuez is a former Spanish royal residence located in the town of Aranjuez, about 48 kilometers (30 miles) south of Madrid. The palace was constructed between the 16th and 18th centuries in the Habsburg and Bourbon architectural styles.

The palace was commissioned by Philip II and designed by architects Juan Bautista de Toledo and Juan de Herrera in the mid-16th century. It was later enlarged and refurbished by Charles III and his architect Francesco Sabatini in the 18th century.

The palace has over 200 rooms, including a throne room, royal chapel, and various state rooms. The interior is decorated with frescoes, tapestries, and artwork, including pieces by renowned Spanish painters such as Goya and Velázquez.

The palace is set within expansive gardens, which were also designed in the 16th century and later expanded by Charles III. The gardens feature a number of fountains, including the Jardín de la Isla, the Jardín del Parterre, and the Jardín del Príncipe. The gardens are home to a number of trees, flowers, and plants, including rare and exotic species from around the world.
