The Luxembourg Gardens, or Jardin du Luxembourg in French, is a beautiful and expansive public park in Paris, France. It covers over 60 acres (25 hectares) of land and is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, near the Sorbonne University.

The park was created in the 17th century and was originally a palace garden for Marie de' Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France. Today, the Luxembourg Gardens are one of the most popular destinations for both locals and tourists in Paris.

The park is famous for its beautiful landscaping, featuring well-manicured lawns, flower beds, fountains, and sculptures. There are also over 100 statues throughout the park, including depictions of famous French figures like Georges Clemenceau, Louis Pasteur, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

In addition to its beautiful gardens, the Luxembourg Gardens also feature a large pond where visitors can rent miniature sailboats to float on the water. There is also a beautiful palace located within the park, which houses the French Senate.

The park is open to the public all year round and is free to enter. Visitors can stroll through the gardens, have a picnic, read a book, or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The park also hosts a variety of cultural events and concerts throughout the year.
