Júzcar is a small village located in the province of Malaga, in the southern region of Andalusia, Spain. It is situated in the mountains of the Serranía de Ronda, and is known for its unusual blue color.

In 2011, the village was chosen by Sony Pictures as a location to promote the release of the film "The Smurfs." The village was painted blue, and Sony paid for the costs of the paint and the labor to apply it. The project was intended to be temporary, but the residents voted to keep the village blue after the promotion ended, as it brought much-needed tourism and revenue to the area.

Today, Júzcar is a popular tourist destination and is often referred to as the "Smurf Village." Visitors can enjoy walking tours, local food, and unique shops that feature Smurf-themed souvenirs. The village is also a popular destination for hiking and outdoor activities, as it is surrounded by beautiful mountains and natural scenery.
