Jerónimos Monastery, also known as the Hieronymites Monastery, is a historic monument located in the Belém district of Lisbon, Portugal. It is a prime example of the Portuguese Late Gothic Manueline style of architecture, and was built in the late 15th and early 16th centuries to commemorate Portugal's naval exploits and as a symbol of the country's power and wealth during the Age of Discovery. The monastery is dedicated to St. Jerome, the patron saint of sailors and travelers.

The building's interior features a spacious nave with ribbed vaults and richly decorated chapels, including the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, which is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures. The western facade of the monastery is marked by two massive towers and a central portal, while the southern portal is graced with a statue of St. Jerome.

In 1983, the Jerónimos Monastery was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and today it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Lisbon, attracting visitors from all over the world. It is also used as a cultural center, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and other events.
