Corniglia is a small village located in the Cinque Terre region on the northwest coast of Italy. It is situated on top of a rocky promontory about 100 meters above sea level and surrounded by vineyards and terraced hillsides.
The town is known for its charming narrow streets and staircases, as well as its panoramic views of the surrounding coastline. Unlike the other Cinque Terre towns, Corniglia does not have direct access to the sea, but instead has a rocky platform overlooking the water, called the "Marina di Corniglia."
The main attractions of Corniglia include the Church of St. Peter, which dates back to the 14th century and has a beautiful rose window, and the panoramic terrace at the edge of town, which offers stunning views of the surrounding coastline.
