The Chateau du Champ de Bataille is a magnificent castle located in the Normandy region of France. Built in the 17th century, the castle is situated in a vast park that covers 40 hectares, including French gardens, English gardens, and forest. The chateau is known for its opulent and grand interior design, featuring stunning paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and antique furniture.
The castle's owner, Jacques Garcia, has invested considerable effort and resources in restoring and decorating the chateau, turning it into a unique attraction that is open to the public. Visitors can tour the grand rooms, including the dining room, the music room, and the library, which are all exquisitely decorated. The chateau also has a chapel, which is still in use and holds mass on Sundays.
Outside, the gardens are equally impressive, with a French-style garden featuring geometric patterns and fountains, and an English-style garden with winding paths and a lake. There is also a large orangery, where citrus trees are grown.
