Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England, about 2 miles (3 km) west of Amesbury and 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury. Castlerigg Stone Circle is a prehistoric monument located in Cumbria, England, near the town of Keswick in the Lake District. It is one of the oldest stone circles in the country and dates back to around 3200 BC, making it even older than Stonehenge.

The circle consists of 38 stones, including 30 standing stones arranged in a rough oval, with the tallest standing at around 3 meters high. Some of the stones have carvings on them, including spirals and circular patterns.

The purpose of the circle is not known for certain, but it is believed to have been used for religious or ceremonial purposes.
