The USS Midway Museum is a naval museum in San Diego, California, United States. It is housed on board the decommissioned aircraft carrier USS Midway. The USS Midway was commissioned in 1945 and served the US Navy for 47 years before being decommissioned in 1992. The museum opened in 2004 and has since become a popular attraction, receiving over one million visitors annually.
The museum offers visitors a chance to explore the ship and learn about its history and the role it played in US naval operations during the Cold War and Gulf War eras. There are over 60 exhibits and interactive displays throughout the ship, including the ship's bridge, engine room, and flight deck.
