Salina Turda is a salt mine located in Turda, Romania, and has been turned into a popular tourist attraction. The mine was first used during the Roman times for salt extraction and was later used by the Austro-Hungarian Empire as a source of salt. It was closed in 1932, and in 1992 it was opened to the public as a tourist attraction. The mine has been beautifully restored, and visitors can explore the underground tunnels, chambers, and salt lakes.

The main attraction of Salina Turda is the underground amusement park, which was opened in 2010. The park is located in a large chamber and has a Ferris wheel, mini-golf course, bowling alley, and even an underground lake where visitors can rent paddle boats. There is also a small amphitheater where concerts and other events are held.

Apart from the amusement park, visitors can also take a guided tour of the salt mine and learn about the history of the mine, as well as the methods used for salt extraction. The mine is also home to an underground museum, which displays tools and equipment used in salt mining throughout history.
