Sacro Monte di Varese, also known as the Sacred Mountain of Varese, is a complex of 14 chapels and monuments situated on a hill overlooking the city of Varese in Lombardy, Italy. The complex was built in the late 16th and early 17th centuries as a pilgrimage destination for devotees of the Virgin Mary, with each chapel dedicated to a different event in the life of Christ or the Virgin Mary.

The chapels and monuments are laid out along a winding path that leads visitors up the hill. They are richly decorated with frescoes, sculptures, and other artworks, many of which were created by famous artists of the time. The chapels are also surrounded by beautiful gardens and natural landscapes, which provide a serene and peaceful setting for visitors to reflect and pray.

Sacro Monte di Varese is considered one of the most important examples of the Baroque style of religious architecture in Italy, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. It continues to attract thousands of visitors each year, both as a religious destination and as a cultural and historical attraction.
