The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken are a complex of greenhouses located in the Laeken Park in Brussels, Belgium. The greenhouses were built in the late 19th century at the request of King Leopold II, and cover an area of around 2.5 hectares.
The greenhouses are designed in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, and are home to an extensive collection of exotic and rare plants from around the world. The collection includes over 20,000 plants, including palms, ferns, orchids, and other tropical plants. The greenhouses also house a number of sculptures and other works of art.
The complex is divided into several different sections, including the Winter Garden, which is home to a large collection of exotic palms, the Orangery, which contains a number of citrus trees, and the Iron Church, which was originally built for the Belgian Pavilion at the 1897 World Expo in Brussels.
