Palazzo Pitti is a grand Renaissance palace located in Florence, Italy. It was originally built in 1458 by a Florentine banker, and was later purchased by the Medici family in 1549. The palace was expanded over the years, with the addition of the Boboli Gardens in the 16th century and the Royal Apartments in the 17th century. Today, the palace is a museum complex that includes several galleries, including the Palatine Gallery, the Gallery of Modern Art, the Museum of Costume and Fashion, and the Museum of Porcelain.

The Palatine Gallery is the largest and most important gallery in the palace, with an extensive collection of paintings by Italian and European artists from the 16th to the 18th century. The Gallery of Modern Art features works from the 19th and 20th centuries, while the Museum of Costume and Fashion displays clothing and accessories from the 18th to the 20th century. The Museum of Porcelain houses a collection of over 6,000 pieces of porcelain, including works by the famous Italian porcelain manufacturer, Ginori.

The Boboli Gardens are a vast and beautiful park that covers over 11 acres. They were designed in the 16th century by the famous architect, Niccolò Triburgo, and were expanded over the years to include fountains, sculptures, and grottoes. The gardens offer stunning views of Florence and feature a number of interesting structures, including the Amphitheater, the Kaffeehaus, and the Grotta del Buontalenti.
