Oleshky Sands is a desert and a national natural park located in southern Ukraine, close to the Black Sea coast. It is situated in the Kherson region and covers an area of about 1600 square kilometers.

The landscape of Oleshky Sands is unique and impressive, featuring shifting sand dunes that can reach up to 20 meters in height. The area is also home to several rare and endangered species of plants and animals, including desert lizards, wild boars, foxes, and sand cats.

Visitors can explore the park by hiking or taking a guided tour on a dune buggy. Camping is also possible in designated areas within the park. The park offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and is a popular destination for photographers, nature lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Oleshky Sands is an important ecological region in Ukraine, and efforts are being made to preserve its unique natural habitat. The park was declared a protected area in 2001 and is now part of the National Ecological Network of Ukraine.
