Lagos de Tristaina, or the Tristaina Lakes, are a group of three glacial lakes located in the northwest of Andorra, near the border with France. The three lakes are Estany Primer, Estany del Mig, and Estany de Més Amunt. They are situated in a valley between two mountain ranges, the Pic de Tristaina and the Port de Rialb.
The Tristaina Lakes are a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers, and are part of the Coma Pedrosa Natural Park. The lakes are known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning natural beauty. Visitors can hike around the lakes and enjoy the scenery, or swim in the refreshing mountain water.
The lakes are also home to a variety of wildlife, including fish, amphibians, and birds such as the common merganser and the Eurasian coot. The surrounding forests are home to species such as the Pyrenean oak, the European silver fir, and the beech tree.
