The Japanese Garden of Monaco, also known as Le Jardin Japonais, is a beautiful and peaceful oasis situated on the hills above Monte Carlo. It was designed by the landscape architect Yasuo Beppu in 1994 as a gift from the Japanese government to the Principality of Monaco on the occasion of Prince Rainier III's 700th birthday.

The garden is spread over 7,000 square meters and is a perfect blend of Japanese and Mediterranean landscaping styles. It features traditional elements of Japanese gardens such as a pond with koi fish, waterfalls, a tea pavilion, a Zen garden, and a wide variety of bonsai trees and other Japanese plants. The garden also boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding hills.

Visitors can explore the garden on a winding path that leads through the various garden areas, crossing small bridges and stepping stones. There are benches throughout the garden where visitors can rest and take in the tranquil atmosphere. The tea pavilion offers visitors the chance to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and enjoy a cup of green tea while taking in the garden's beauty.
