It was originally opened on May 1, 1989 as Disney-MGM Studios, and it was rebranded as Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2008. The park is dedicated to showcasing the magic of the movies and television, as well as the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is divided into several "production zones," each of which is themed around a different aspect of the Hollywood experience. These zones include Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Park, Pixar Place, Sunset Boulevard, and Toy Story Land.
