Chateau de Villebon is a historic castle located in the commune of Villebon-sur-Yvette in the Essonne department of France, approximately 20 kilometers south-west of Paris. The castle dates back to the 17th century and was originally built by the de Choisy family, a prominent French noble family. It was later owned by the d'Estampes family and was eventually sold to the de Bellefonds family, who owned the property until the French Revolution.

The castle is built in a typical French architectural style, with a symmetrical layout, steeply pitched slate roofs, and large arched windows. It is surrounded by a moat, which adds to its medieval charm. The castle's interior features elegant furnishings, artwork, and antique pieces, including a collection of 18th-century French furniture and a grand staircase with a wrought-iron balustrade.

The castle and its gardens are open to the public for guided tours, which take visitors through the various rooms and give them an insight into the castle's history and architecture. The castle also hosts a range of cultural events, such as classical music concerts and art exhibitions.

Today, Chateau de Villebon is a popular tourist attraction in the region and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful castles in France. It is also used as a wedding venue and a location for film shoots, and has been featured in several movies and television shows.
