The Trani Cathedral (Cattedrale di Trani) is a magnificent Romanesque-style church located in the city of Trani in Apulia, Southern Italy. It is considered one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Italy and is dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Pilgrim, who is the patron saint of Trani.

The cathedral was built between the 11th and 12th centuries, and its construction was commissioned by the Norman Count of Trani, Nicolo Perotti. The church features a unique blend of architectural styles, including Byzantine, Islamic, and Norman, which are evident in its intricate decorations, arches, and columns.

The exterior of the cathedral is characterized by its distinctive bell tower, which is constructed in a square shape and topped by a dome. The facade is decorated with white stone and features intricate decorations, including an arched portal and three large rose windows.

Inside, the cathedral boasts a spacious nave with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and a transept with three apses. The church is decorated with beautiful frescoes, mosaics, and intricate marble work. The most remarkable feature of the cathedral is the crypt, which is home to the remains of Saint Nicholas the Pilgrim.
