Apple Park is the corporate headquarters of Apple Inc., located in Cupertino, California. Designed by the architect Norman Foster, the 175-acre campus was opened in April 2017, replacing the previous headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop. The campus, shaped like a circle, features a sleek, minimalist design and is surrounded by lush green spaces.
The main building, known as the "Spaceship", is made of curved glass panels and has a diameter of over 1,000 feet. The building is powered by 100% renewable energy, including a 17-megawatt solar farm. The campus also features a 100,000-square-foot fitness center, a 1,000-seat auditorium, and a visitor center with an Apple Store and café.
The park also includes a research and development facility, as well as a carbon-neutral data center. The grounds are designed to be a model of sustainability, with features such as a rainwater collection system, a chilled water distribution system, and a solar heating system.
Apple Park has received widespread praise for its innovative design and environmentally-friendly features, and is considered one of the most iconic and recognizable corporate headquarters in the world.
