The Yungas Road is a scenic but dangerous mountain road located in Bolivia. It is also known as the "Death Road" due to its high number of accidents and fatalities over the years. The road connects La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, with Coroico, a small town in the Amazon region. It is approximately 68 km long and winds through the Andes Mountains with steep drop-offs, tight curves, and poor road conditions. Despite the dangers, many tourists come to Bolivia to cycle down the Yungas Road as part of an adventure tour. Today, a new and safer road has been built, but the Yungas Road still draws adventurous travelers and cyclists seeking an adrenaline rush.
