Yangykala Canyon is a stunning geological formation located in the western part of Turkmenistan. It is part of the Ustyurt Plateau, a massive desert region that covers portions of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. The canyon is approximately 150 meters deep and is characterized by colorful rock formations that have been shaped by millions of years of natural erosion.

The name Yangykala translates to "Fire Fortresses," which is an appropriate description given the striking red, orange, and yellow hues of the rock formations.
