The United States Naval Academy, also known as USNA, is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland. It was founded in 1845 with the mission of providing education and training to future officers of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The academy is one of the oldest service academies in the country and is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious.

The campus of USNA covers 338 acres and is located on the banks of the Severn River. The academy is divided into five major divisions: the Academic Program, the Leadership Development Program, the Athletics Program, the Professional Development Program, and the Support Services Program.

USNA offers a rigorous academic program, with a strong emphasis on mathematics, science, engineering, and technology. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers as officers in the Navy and Marine Corps, as well as for postgraduate education. The academy also offers a number of extracurricular activities, including clubs, organizations, and sports teams, to provide students with opportunities for leadership development, teamwork, and personal growth.
