Tivoli Gardens is an amusement park located in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It was opened in 1843, making it the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world, after Dyrehavsbakken in nearby Klampenborg. Tivoli Gardens is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Copenhagen, drawing over 4.5 million visitors annually.
The park features a variety of rides, including roller coasters, water rides, and carousels. It also has a range of other attractions, including a historic pantomime theatre, a concert hall, and a number of restaurants and cafés. Tivoli Gardens is particularly well-known for its beautiful gardens and landscaping, which were designed by the park's founder, Georg Carstensen.
