The Suleymaniye Mosque is one of the most important Ottoman imperial mosques in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent between 1550 and 1557. The mosque is situated on the third hill of Istanbul and offers a commanding view of the city. The mosque complex also includes a mosque, madrasa, hospital, soup kitchen, and a market, making it a central hub of religious, social, and economic life.

The mosque is a masterpiece of Ottoman architectural design, combining elements of Byzantine, Persian, and Islamic architecture. The central dome of the mosque is 53 meters high and the mosque can accommodate more than 10,000 worshippers. The mosque is surrounded by several smaller domes, minarets, and arches, which enhance the beauty of the building. The intricate calligraphy, marble columns, and gold plated details add to the magnificence of the mosque.
