Sens Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Saint Stephen, is a Catholic church located in the city of Sens in the Burgundy region of France. It was built in the Gothic style between the 12th and 16th centuries and is considered one of the earliest examples of Gothic architecture in France.

The cathedral features a number of distinctive architectural elements, including its rose window and the statues of its portals. Its interior is also notable for its stained glass windows, which date from the 13th to the 16th centuries, and its high vaulted ceiling.

The cathedral has a rich history and has been the site of many important events, including the consecration of Thomas Becket as Archbishop of Canterbury in 1162. It was also the location of the Second Lateran Council in 1131, where Pope Innocent II was recognized as the rightful pope after a period of schism.
