The Roman Temple of Évora, also known as the Temple of Diana, is an ancient Roman temple located in the city of Évora, in Portugal. It is one of the most well-preserved Roman ruins in the country and a significant tourist attraction.

The temple was built in the 1st century AD and was originally dedicated to the Roman goddess Diana. The temple was part of the Roman forum, which was the main public square of the city. The temple has been partially destroyed and altered over time. During the Visigoth period, the temple was used as a church, and later, during the Moorish period, the temple was used as a slaughterhouse.

The temple is made of granite and marble and consists of a hexastyle Corinthian temple with six columns in front and back and 14 columns on the sides. The columns are 1.15 meters in diameter and 8.5 meters tall. The temple is approximately 14 meters wide and 25 meters long. The temple is surrounded by a low wall and is entered through a doorway in the west wall.

Today, the Roman Temple of Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular attraction for tourists visiting the city. The temple has been restored, and the surrounding area has been turned into a public garden. The temple is also illuminated at night, which adds to its beauty and makes it an even more popular destination for visitors.
