Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a popular aquarium located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in the United States. The aquarium is home to over 10,000 sea creatures, representing over 350 species.
The aquarium features a number of exhibits, including Shark Lagoon, where visitors can walk through an underwater tunnel while surrounded by a variety of shark species, including sand tiger sharks and sandbar sharks. The Ocean Realm exhibit features a giant octopus, jellyfish, and colorful reef fish.
Other exhibits at the aquarium include the Tropical Rainforest, which features a variety of freshwater fish and reptiles, and the Penguin Playhouse, where visitors can watch penguins as they swim and play.
In addition to the exhibits, the aquarium offers a number of interactive experiences, including touch tanks, where visitors can touch and feed stingrays and small sharks, as well as a glass-bottom boat ride that takes visitors over a replica of a sunken shipwreck.
