The Museo Nazionale del Bargello is a museum in Florence, Italy, that is dedicated to the decorative arts, medieval and Renaissance sculpture, and small bronze sculptures. The building that houses the museum, the Palazzo del Bargello, was built in the 13th century and originally served as a police station and prison. Today, it is a national monument and one of the oldest public buildings in Florence.

The museum's collection includes a vast array of decorative arts, including textiles, pottery, furniture, arms and armor, and glassware. However, the museum is most famous for its collection of sculptures, which includes works by some of the greatest Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo, Donatello, and Cellini.

One of the most famous works in the museum is Donatello's bronze sculpture of David, which was created in the 15th century. Other highlights of the collection include Michelangelo's Bacchus, Giambologna's Mercury, and several sculptures by the prolific 16th-century artist Benvenuto Cellini.

In addition to the sculptures, the museum also houses an extensive collection of Tuscan paintings from the 14th to the 16th century, as well as a collection of ceramics and maiolica from the same period.

The Museo Nazionale del Bargello is an important cultural institution in Florence and attracts thousands of visitors every year who come to admire its exquisite collection of decorative arts and sculptures.
