The Kingdom Centre is a skyscraper located in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. Completed in 2002, it is one of the tallest buildings in the country, standing at a height of 302 meters (991 feet) and consisting of 41 floors. The design of the tower is inspired by the form of a bottle opener, with two legs that angle outwards and converge at the top, where a sky bridge connects them.
The building houses a mix of offices, residential apartments, and a shopping mall. The mall is spread over several floors and features a range of international and local retail brands, as well as restaurants and cafes. The observation deck, located on the 99th floor, offers visitors panoramic views of the city.
One of the notable features of the Kingdom Centre is the sky bridge, which is located on the 41st and 42nd floors and spans a length of 65 meters (213 feet). It is one of the highest sky bridges in the world and is a popular tourist attraction. The bridge is open to the public for a fee, and visitors can take in the stunning views of the city from the top.
The Kingdom Centre also features a number of sustainable design elements, such as solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and energy-efficient lighting. It has won several awards for its design and sustainability initiatives.
