The Isle of Man Steam Railway is a narrow gauge steam-operated railway located on the Isle of Man, a self-governing British Crown dependency located in the Irish Sea. The railway is operated by the Isle of Man Government Department of Infrastructure and runs between the towns of Douglas and Port Erin.

The railway was established in 1873 and was primarily used for transportation of people and goods. Today, it is mainly used for tourism purposes and is a popular attraction on the Isle of Man. The railway has a total track length of around 15.3 miles (24.6 km) and operates with a variety of steam locomotives, some of which are over 100 years old.

The route passes through beautiful Manx countryside and features several iconic landmarks such as the Snaefell mountain railway and the historic Castletown railway station. The railway also stops at several small towns and villages along the way, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the Isle of Man's heritage and culture.

The Isle of Man Steam Railway operates from March to November, with daily services during peak tourist season. Visitors can choose from a variety of ticket options, including round-trip journeys, one-way trips, and combination tickets that include other popular Isle of Man attractions.
