Coop's Shot Tower is a historic tower located in Melbourne, Australia. It was built in 1888 and stands at 50 meters tall. The tower was built by the owner of the local ammunition factory, which produced lead shot for use in firearms.

The tower was designed by a Melbourne architect, James Robertson, and constructed by local builders, Smith & Wellstood. The tower is made from bricks and has a circular shape. Inside the tower, there is a spiral staircase that leads to the top. At the top of the tower, there is a large copper pot, which was used to make the lead shot. The pot was heated to a high temperature, and the molten lead was then poured through a sieve at the top of the tower. As the lead fell through the tower, it cooled and solidified into small spherical pellets, which were collected at the bottom of the tower.

The tower was in use until 1961, and during its operational years, it produced around 4,500 tonnes of lead shot. Today, the tower is a popular tourist attraction and is open to visitors. The tower offers panoramic views of Melbourne's city skyline and surrounding areas. Visitors can climb the tower's spiral staircase and learn about the history of the tower and its role in Melbourne's industrial past. The tower has been listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and the Australian National Heritage List.
