Centuripe is a town and comune located in the province of Enna in the central region of Sicily, Italy. It is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Simeto Valley and the Etna volcano.

The town has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. In fact, it was originally founded by the Sicilian tribe of the Sicans in the 5th century BC. Later, it became an important city under the rule of the Greeks, Romans, and Byzantines.
