Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a popular tourist attraction located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The bridge spans a 20-meter wide chasm and connects the mainland to the small island of Carrick-a-Rede. The bridge was originally built by salmon fisherman over 350 years ago and was used to access the rich salmon fishing grounds off the coast.

The current iteration of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge was built in 2008 and is made of sturdy ropes and wooden planks. The bridge is 66 feet (20 meters) long and is suspended over a 100-foot (30-meter) drop to the rocky shore below. Despite its height, the bridge is considered safe for visitors, with handrails and sturdy ropes providing stability.
