Briksdalsbreen is a glacier located in the municipality of Stryn in Western Norway. It is part of the Jostedalsbreen National Park, which is the largest glacier in continental Europe. The Briksdalsbreen glacier is about 6 kilometers long and is an arm of the Jostedalsbreen glacier.

The glacier is easily accessible by foot or by using a shuttle service from the nearby Briksdalsbre Fjellstove. Visitors can walk along the beautiful path from the fjellstove to the glacier, which is around 3 kilometers long and offers stunning views of the glacier, valleys, and waterfalls.

The glacier is a popular tourist attraction in Norway and attracts thousands of visitors every year. It is considered one of the most beautiful glaciers in Norway due to its pristine, blue ice and the scenic surroundings. Visitors can also explore the nearby Briksdalen Valley, which is known for its lush vegetation, waterfalls, and wildlife, including reindeer and elk.

Due to climate change, the Briksdalsbreen glacier has been retreating for many years. It is estimated that the glacier has lost around 400 meters in length since the mid-1990s. However, the glacier is still a breathtaking sight to see and offers a unique experience for visitors to Norway.
