Beopjusa, also known as Beopju Temple, is a historic Buddhist temple located in the mountains of Songnisan National Park in central South Korea. The temple was first established in the 6th century during the Silla dynasty, but the present-day temple dates back to the late Joseon dynasty in the 17th century.

Beopjusa is known for its stunning natural surroundings, which include rocky cliffs, deep valleys, and forests of fir and pine trees. The temple is also home to several important cultural treasures, including a five-story stone pagoda that is considered one of the best examples of Silla-era pagodas in Korea. The temple's main hall, Daeungjeon, is also a significant cultural artifact, as it was built in the early Joseon dynasty and features beautiful wooden carvings and paintings.

One of the most popular attractions at Beopjusa is the Cheonwangmun Gate, which is adorned with four large statues of the Four Heavenly Kings. Visitors can also see the Guksaam Hermitage, which is located high up on the mountain and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The temple also hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, including traditional Buddhist ceremonies and festivals.
