Ban Gioc–Detian Falls is a stunning natural waterfall located on the border of China and Vietnam. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Asia and is a popular tourist destination in the region.
The falls are created by the Quay Son River and consist of two main waterfalls, one on the Chinese side and the other on the Vietnamese side. The Chinese waterfall is called the Huangguoshu Waterfall and the Vietnamese waterfall is called Ban Gioc Waterfall. The falls are separated by a large rock and are about 200 meters wide.
The height of the falls is around 30 meters, but during the rainy season, the flow of water increases and the falls become even more magnificent. The surrounding landscape is also breathtaking, with lush green forests and towering mountains.
The Ban Gioc–Detian Falls are not only a beautiful sight to behold but also hold cultural significance. They have been a popular destination for poets, artists, and writers throughout history, and the falls are mentioned in several ancient Vietnamese poems.
Today, the falls are a popular tourist attraction, and visitors can take boat rides to get a closer look at the falls and the surrounding area. There are also hiking trails, picnic areas, and restaurants nearby for visitors to enjoy.
