Amiens Cathedral is a medieval cathedral located in the city of Amiens, France. The cathedral is one of the largest in France and is considered one of the greatest examples of Gothic architecture. It was constructed in the 13th century and took more than 50 years to complete. The cathedral is built of limestone and stands at a height of 42 meters, making it one of the tallest cathedrals in France.

The facade of the cathedral is adorned with sculptures, including 22 of the kings of Judah and Israel, which date back to the 13th century. The south transept of the cathedral is home to the famous "Rose Window," which is 12.5 meters in diameter and consists of 84 panes of stained glass. The interior of the cathedral is also adorned with stained glass windows and sculptures, including a statue of the Virgin Mary and child, which is said to have been carved in the 14th century.

The cathedral has survived a number of wars and conflicts over the centuries, including damage sustained during World War II. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can take guided tours of the cathedral and explore its various features, including the nave, choir, and transepts, as well as the beautiful sculptures and stained glass windows.
