The Stadel Museum, located in Frankfurt, Germany, is an art museum with a vast collection of European art from the Middle Ages to the present day. The museum's collection spans over 700 years of art history, with approximately 3,100 paintings, 660 sculptures, and 4,600 photographs. It is one of the most important museums of its kind in Germany.

The museum's collection includes works by some of the most famous artists in history, including Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Francisco de Goya, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and many others. The Stadel Museum also has an extensive collection of works by German Renaissance and Baroque painters, including Lucas Cranach the Elder, Albrecht Altdorfer, and Hans Holbein the Younger.

In addition to its permanent collection, the Stadel Museum hosts a variety of temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The museum also offers educational programs, workshops, and lectures for visitors of all ages.

The Stadel Museum was founded in 1815 by Johann Friedrich Stadel, a wealthy banker and collector of art. Over the years, the museum has grown to become one of the most important cultural institutions in Germany. Today, it is housed in a modern building that opened in 2012 and is located in the heart of Frankfurt's museum district. The building features state-of-the-art exhibition spaces, a library, a restaurant, and a museum shop.
