The Sixty Dome Mosque, also known as Shait Gumbad Mosque, is a historic mosque located in the Bagerhat district of Bangladesh. It was built in the 15th century by a Muslim saint named Khan Jahan Ali, who was also the founder of the city of Bagerhat.

The mosque is famous for its unique design and architecture, which features 60 domes arranged in 7 rows of 11 domes each. The domes are made of baked bricks and terracotta and are supported by stone pillars and walls. The mosque also has 77 low, squat pillars that support the roof.

The mosque has a rectangular prayer hall with a central nave that runs perpendicular to the qibla wall, which faces towards Mecca. The prayer hall is flanked by two aisles with arcaded openings that allow natural light and ventilation to enter. The interior walls of the mosque are decorated with intricate terracotta ornamentation, including floral designs, calligraphic inscriptions, and geometric patterns.

The Sixty Dome Mosque is considered one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the Indian subcontinent and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an important historical and cultural landmark in Bangladesh and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
