Saint Stepanos Monastery, also known as Saint Stephen's Church, is a 9th-century Armenian monastery located in the northwest region of Iran, near the town of Jolfa in East Azarbaijan province. It is situated on the southern bank of the Aras River and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site known as the Armenian Monastic Ensembles of Iran. The monastery was founded by Saint Stepanos, who is believed to have been one of the seventy-two apostles of Jesus Christ.

The original church was built in the 9th century, but the current structure dates back to the 13th century. It is a beautiful example of Armenian architecture with its cross-shaped domed hall and arched entrance portal. The monastery also includes a bell tower, refectory, library, and several khachkars (Armenian cross-stones) that date back to the 16th century.

The Saint Stepanos Monastery is a significant pilgrimage site for Armenians, who come from around the world to pay their respects and worship at the church.
