The Royal Yacht Britannia is a former royal yacht of the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. It was launched in 1953 and served as the Queen's private yacht until it was decommissioned in 1997. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The yacht was used by the Queen and the royal family for a number of state occasions, including the Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977 and the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. It was also used to entertain foreign dignitaries, such as U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.

After being decommissioned, the yacht was brought to Edinburgh and opened to the public as a museum. Visitors can tour the ship's various decks and see the Queen's bedroom, the State Dining Room, and the Officer's Wardroom, among other areas. The yacht is also home to a number of exhibitions and displays on its history and the royal family.

The Royal Yacht Britannia is moored at the Ocean Terminal in Leith, a port area of Edinburgh, and attracts over 300,000 visitors each year. It is considered one of the top tourist attractions in Scotland and is a must-visit destination for those interested in the history of the British monarchy.
