The Ricardo Brennand Institute is a cultural complex located in Recife, Brazil. The complex is situated on a large estate that covers an area of about 77 hectares, which includes a museum, a library, an art gallery, and a garden. The museum is dedicated to Brazilian colonial history and displays a collection of armor, weapons, art, and other historical artifacts from Brazil and other parts of the world.

The museum's collection includes items such as medieval armor, swords, guns, and other weapons from Europe and Asia. It also displays a range of art from the colonial period of Brazil, including paintings, sculptures, and furniture. The library at the Ricardo Brennand Institute houses over 62,000 books, manuscripts, and other documents, primarily focused on Brazilian and European history.

The art gallery displays temporary exhibitions of contemporary art, photography, and other visual arts. The garden, known as the Sculpture Park, displays a collection of outdoor sculptures by Brazilian and international artists.

The institute was founded by Ricardo Brennand, a Brazilian businessman and collector who began collecting historical artifacts and weapons as a child. In 2002, he opened the museum to the public, and it has since become a popular tourist destination in Recife.
