Parque Enrique Lage is a public park located in Havana, Cuba. It was once the estate of the Spanish-born millionaire, Mr. Rafael de Cárdenas, and his wife, Ms. María Luisa Gómez-Mena. The park was named after their son, Enrique de Cárdenas y Gómez-Mena.
The park features a variety of flora and fauna, including palm trees, banyan trees, and a lagoon that is home to fish and ducks. The park also has several walking trails, a playground for children, a café, and a mini-zoo with peacocks, flamingos, parrots, and other birds.
The highlight of the park is the mansion, which was designed by Italian architect Mario Romañach in the 1920s. The mansion features a mix of architectural styles, including Spanish colonial, neoclassical, and Art Nouveau. It has several rooms that are decorated with antiques and art from the 18th and 19th centuries, and is now used as an art gallery and exhibition space.
