Palacio de los López, also known as the Palacio de Gobierno or the Government Palace, is a neoclassical palace located in Asunción, the capital city of Paraguay. It was constructed in the 19th century and is the official residence of the President of Paraguay. The palace has a rich history and is considered an important cultural symbol of the country.

The building was designed by Italian architect Alejandro Ravizza, and construction began in 1857. The palace was completed in 1892 and has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years. It is named after Francisco Solano López, who was the President of Paraguay during the Paraguayan War.

The palace is characterized by its symmetrical design and its white facade with a central dome. It is surrounded by well-manicured gardens and has several impressive statues and fountains. The interior of the palace is just as impressive, featuring marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and ornate furnishings. It has several halls and rooms that are used for official functions, including the Hall of Heroes, the Golden Room, and the Ceremonial Hall.

The Palacio de los López is open to the public on certain days, and visitors can take guided tours of the palace and learn about its history and significance. It is also a popular spot for locals and tourists to take photos, particularly with the large Paraguayan flag that flies in front of the palace.
