The Oriental Pearl Tower is a TV tower located in Shanghai, China. It was completed in 1994 and stands at a height of 468 meters (1,535 feet). The tower has become a symbol of the city and is one of the most recognizable landmarks in China.
The tower is divided into three spheres, the largest of which is 50 meters (164 feet) in diameter and contains an observation deck. The middle sphere is 45 meters (148 feet) in diameter and houses a revolving restaurant, while the smallest sphere is 14 meters (46 feet) in diameter and is used as a sightseeing area.
The tower is illuminated at night with a variety of colors and patterns, making it a popular tourist attraction in the evening. Visitors can take an elevator to the observation deck to enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Huangpu River.
